Amcor Flexibles wins two FPA awards

Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas received two awards from the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) for innovative packaging solutions for cheese products. The awards were presented during FPA\'s annual meeting which is just now taking place in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The gold award in the category 'Packaging Excellence' was won for know-how in contour perforation technology applied on Emmi's Käsplättli cheese pack. The innovative packaging format consists of a tray with four cavities, each filled with a different type of individually portioned cheese, and is sealed with a lidding film from Amcor Flexibles. Thanks to Amcor's expertise in contour perforation, consumers can enjoy the ultimate convenience of either peeling open the complete pack or, if they want a single piece only, push one individual cavity open and pick the cheese bite they crave for. ...cont´d
