In February 2010, Amcor Flexibles acquired four business groups of Alcan Packaging viz: Global Tobacco, Global Pharma, Food Asia Pacific and Food Europe. Amcor Flexibles has now become the largest packaging company in the world with a turnover of approximately AUS$ 14 billion (approximately INR 57,400 crore) with more than 300 sites in 43 countries.
