Automated ink manufacture

In terms of ingredients an ink consists of pigments, binders, solvents (in case of flexo/gravure), oil distillate (in case of offset) and additives. All these are mixed in ratios corresponding to different applications. DIC’s Noida plant is highly automated with computer-aided sensors and process controls.
