Bosch's new intelligent transport system

Bosch, celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2011, is set to introduce its Intelligent Transport System (ITS), a product infeed unit for horizontal flow wrappers in interpack 2011. ITS balances out product flow irregularities, creates defined spaces and synchronises product and film speeds. The system ensures careful product transport of sensitive and non-accumulable food and confectionery products. As a result of its small deflection radius, the ITS can transfer products directly to the packaging material of the horizontal flow wrapper. ...cont´d
