Mettler-Toledo’s guidebook for its software

Checkweigher Software Compendium

In the PSA October issue, we had written about the increasing automation in the packaging industry especially in the realm of filling and sealing and inspection and quality control. Recently, Mettler-Toledo has released a guidebook for software used by its checkweigher systems. PSA’s RashmiBhate had an opportunity to talk to Gunter Schilpp, head of marketing and product management, Mettler-Toledo to understand the application and availability of the software.

RashmiBhate: How does this software work and why this is required?
Gunter Schilpp: The Software Compendium is a guide book for the software available on all Mettler-Toledo X Series checkweighers, including the XC, XE and XS models. It details the software available to control the functions of the checkweigher to ensure accurate product weighing, the rejection of under- and overweight product and to enable comprehensive recording of all product inspection data from the production line. ...cont´d
