Cognex has introduced the wireless module and intelligent base station for the DataMan 8000 series of readers which are targeted at users with extended range, cord-free, code reading applications. Field interchangeable communication modules make it easy to connect DataMan 8000 readers to existing factory network, reducing installation costs and allowing remote access to diagnostics.
