The Emballage World 2008 packaging exhibition will take place at NordVillepinte in Paris from 17 to 21 November 2008. Held biennially, thethirty-eighth event will focus on packages and containers, machines, equipmentand related services. The event is expected to attract more than 2000exhibitors and numerous visitors from across the globe. There is also aconcerted effort to attract Indian exhibitors and visitors as our growingeconomy and packaging industry begin to catch the world’s attention. Emballage includes some special themes, conferences, and focus areasthat are organised simultaneously within the show for the participation of allthe visitors. These include:BioMaterials area in which packaging innovations made of biomaterialsaddress current environmental issues. From 2006 to 2011, the consumption of biomaterials packaging is expectedto rise at an annual rate of 22 per cent (Intertech/ PIRA/June 2007). ...cont´d
