Blackstone-owned Graham Packaging, a US$ 2.5 billion gobal major inrigid plastics packaging, has initiated a strategic entry into Indiathrough the acquisition of a minority stake in PPI Blowpack PrivateLtd., a privately held plastic container manufacturer based in Mumbai.PPI Blowpack, founded by Prahlad Deora, has been producing blow-mouldedcontainers for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and FMCG markets inIndia since 1972.
