University of Cambridge communiqué ahead of the climate summit

Heidelberg champions environmental protection

The University of Cambridge has released a communiqué ahead of the climate summit to be held in Copenhagen from 7 – 18 December 2009 which aims to secure a new global agreement on climate protection.

The communiqué states that the rise in global average temperature should be limited to a maximum of two degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial levels. So far, more than 900 companies have signed up to the initiative, which calls on politicians to take urgent action. ...cont´d
