In November last year KBA took to the road for the third time in Malaysia and Indonesia to promote new advances in sheetfed technology. The shows in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta were particularly well received, with printers even coming across from Singapore. Attendance figures were around 50 per cent higher than in previous years.

Following the opening speech by Stefan Segger, managing director of KBA Asia-Pacific in Singapore, KBA sheetfed marketing manager JürgenVeil gave a presentation boldly entitled “It’s time to make money again”, in which he described automation options for printing and finishing processes and used ROI calculations to demonstrate how these would soon be paid for by higher productivity. By popular request KBA is planning to take the roadshow to China in the autumn, continuing what is fast becoming a traditional transfer of knowledge in the Asia-Pacific region.
