The Thung Hua Sinn Group has ordered a 6-colour Roland 200 with a high-pile delivery and a 5-colour Roland 200 for label production. Thailand’s printing industry has experienced strong growth in recent years, driven by orders for packaging from Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, China and Australia. One of the country’s competitive advantages is modern printing technology. This is confirmed by Ananchat Tungkasemwattana, Managing Director of the Thung Hua Sinn Group in Bangkok, one of Thailand’s leading packaging printers: “We are committed to excellence in our products, our technology, and our staff development.” A result of this quality philosophy is the investment in two Roland 200 printing systems for the company’s new location in Chacheongsao, around 50 kilometers from Bangkok. The new presses will be installed in autumn 2009 to produce mainly short-run label jobs. “What we need are short makeready times and outstanding print quality,” reports Ananchat Tungkasemwattana: “The experience we have had with manroland presses and manroland service in our packaging printing plant Thung Hua Sinn Printing Networks made our decision for the ROLAND 200 an easy one.” Three Roland 700 printing systems are in production at Thung Hua Sinn Printing Networks. ...cont´d
