Ministry of Environment and Forests draft notification on plastics in packaging

The Ministry of Environment and Forests issued a draft notification on rules for the manufacture, usage and waste management of plastics in packaging dated 17 September 2009 in The Gazette of India dated 18 September 2009. Objections and suggestions to the draft notification may be sent within the 60 day period (till 16 November 2009) to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests in New Delhi or by eMail to secy-moef@nic.in .
