Mudrika Labels in Mumbai installs Gallus EM 280

On 20 January 2010 PSA attended the inauguration of the Gallus EM 280 label press at Mudrika Labels in the Vasai suburb of Mumbai. Gallus owner and Vice-Chairman of the board  Ferdinand Rueesch, and Vice President Heinrich Sutter as well as Samir Patkar, Heidelberg India’s business head for web converting solutions took part in the inaugural event. Heidelberg, which acquired a 30% stake in Gallus, is the marketing partner for Gallus. “We have been pursuing Mudrika over the past three years. This is a well established and fast growing organization,” said Samir Patkar. Added Vipul Desai, Director, “We were keen to expand, but in a time bound manner. Thanks to our growing label business, we had already decided to purchase another Gallus press. It was just a matter of time. Samir has been diligently following up with us.”
