New Basell polymers deliver glass-like clarity

Basell North America, a company in the LyondellBasell group, have introduced a new family of metallocene-based polypropylene (PP)copolymers called Pristine that contain two nucleated grades that offer extremely high clarity. These grades achieve 2 per cent haze in 1 mm thick plaques compared to 6 per cent to 10 per cent haze values for existing PP resins. ...cont´d
