Mettler-Toledo Garvens has advanced its most precise checkweighing system to date, the XS1, now able to weigh small and lightweight products at high throughput speeds with unprecedented accuracy. Ideal for small-size packs as well as expensive products such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, the XS1’s high accuracy allows manufacturers to set tighter tolerances for their products than ever before. With heightened weighing accuracy, manufacturers can minimise the number of overweight and underweight products, reduce product waste and save production costs. The advanced XS1 can accurately weigh up to 600 small products (up to 200g) per minute. The improved conveyor design with newly developed weighing cells and lightweight belt material ensure the XS1 is accurate up to ±0.015g. The weighing cell features a minimum load of 3g, max. belt-speed up to 150m/min and an official verification scale interval of 0.1g in accordance with European Weights and Measures legislation.
