Furthermore, ippStar is organising an important career development and human resources discussion on the PackPlus floor in Hall 11. The idea of the event is to give the packaging industry a joint human resource platform to project itself as a large and fast growing high technology area with enormous opportunities for the best young people. HR managers in packaging and related companies and executive level personnel are asked to provide their input.

PackPlus 2009 will be divided over four zones, i.e., Packaging, Converting, Processing, and Supply Chain. Anil Arora of the organising committee explains: “As technologies evolve at a furious pace and processes get automated and synchronised, a collaborative environment becomes a necessity. A visitor may be a specialist in just one segment but has a more than peripheral interest in the entire supply chain. This is the rationale to bring the various segments onto one platform.” There will be special pavilions for exhibitors from China and Taiwan. Companies from these countries will include AIM, Baofeng, Dase-Sing, Foshan, Gangzhou, Homeease, Hsing Wei, Hubei Jingshan, Nantai and others.
