Siegwerk wins award for successful business managment

Siegburg, February 5, 2010 – The Siegwerk Group has won the ‘Glocal Enterprise Award 2010,’ conferred by the bank WestLB for successful business management. The word ‘glocal’ is made up of the elements ‘global’ and ‘local’ – simultaneously highlighting the close ties between mid-size companies and their domestic markets, and alignment with the global economy. “Both aspects apply to Siegwerk in an excellent way,” said jury chairman Professor Franz Josef Radermacher from Ulm University at the award ceremony in Düsseldorf, Germany where CFO Oliver Wittmann and Peter Heimerzheim, Director Corporate Communications, accepted the prize on behalf of Siegwerk’s owners and board.
