The Plast India show starts on 1 Feb and goes on till 6 Feb 2012 and is said to be the second largest exhibition for plastic manufacturers, suppliers and allied industry after the K-exhibition in Germany. In Packaging South Asia we have been writing about plastic and its use in packaging. We have also written about the pros and cons of the effects that plastic have on the environment, the recycling of plastic, its future and its presence in and outside India. We have covered the Plast Avenue 2011 in Mumbai, where various plastic manufacturers met to shed light on the use and misuse of the plastic and the damage it is allegedly causing to the environment. ...cont´d
