Uflex commissions CI Flexo with EB curing

Uflex, India’s largest fully integrated flexible packaging group installed its new W&H Miraflex wide web flexo CI press with Electron Beam (EB) curing in October 2009 at its Sector 60 Noida plant. It also installed a prepress unit for photopolymer plates, and a manufacturing unit for EB inks and other consumables — all these to save costs and increase the overall efficiency and viability of the pioneering project. Aakriti Agarwal and Parshav Jain went and had a look.
