In January 2007, Packaging South Asia covered Pragati’s start-up of its 8-colour MPS EF 410 servo driven UV narrow web flexo press. This was also the first MPS installation in India. Subsequently, we wrote about Pragati’s hard box luxury packaging and environmentally friendly blister packaging which the company has pioneered. On a recent visit to Hyderabad Aakriti Agarwal and Parshav Jain met up with Hemanth Paruchuri — another generation next member of the Paruchuri clan, who is looking after Pragati’s flexo plant.
