Welcome to the weekly Packaging South Asia newsletter!
Plastindia 2012 concluded on 6 February in New Delhi. If the third largest plastics exhibition in the world can be described in a single word, it is ‘robust.’ PSA took part in the show from its base in the APL Machinery stand and met many if not all the enthusiastic exhibitors interested in the packaging domain. The hot story this week is ITW acquiring Bangalore based Wintek Flexo Prints.
Our February Special Review of Plastindia will go to press on 16 February. This newsletter contains the beginning of our Plastindia Review stories such as Manjushree, UBI France, Codecor and Bobst. Do send us your inputs on your experience at the show for the review issue. Advertising for the Plastindia Special Review issue will remain open till 15 February 2012 and you can send in your advertisements by then. At the end of February we will be at Ipack-Ima in Milan.
You can mail your feedback, suggestions or response to feedback@ippgroup.in for print articles, and key in your comments directly below any article on our websites. This special issue of PSA online is being sent to 5000 packaging professionals in South Asia and around the world. Check www.packagingsouthasia.com for daily updates and put newsletter@ippgroup.in in your address book or white list, so that we are not directed to your junk box.
