The ever-dynamic global packaging industry has witnessed lots of action in the past week — in another wave of acquisitions and mergers, Danaher has acquired all the outstanding shares of X-Rite, while Goss has sold its drupa star Sunday Vpak to Precision Press in the US. Tetra Pak has introduced another retort pack to the market, and Shuttleworth is attending drupa with its newly developed MIS and CSM. The Label Industry Global Awards has opened its entries to participants for 2012.
